We knew that Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown were going to be NBA All Stars. Tonight it was announced that both will also be participants in the 3 point contest at All Star weekend.

Other contestants include Steph Curry, Devin Booker, Donovan Mitchell, and Zach Lavine.

Festivities that would normally be held on the Saturday of All Star weekend will occur the day of the game.

The last Celtics player to win the 3 point contest was Paul Pierce in 2010. Larry Bird, of course, famously won the first 3 of these contests from 1986 to 1988.

So who do you think has the better shot at winning the whole thing? Jayson Tatum is currently shooting 36.8% while Jaylen Brown is hitting at a 38.5% clip.

As a reminder, Jaylen Brown will be performing close to his hometown of Marietta, Georgia.

Both Tatum and Brown could use some rest, but it is an honor to be part of the All Star festivities.
