Jaylen Brown on systemic racism: “Boston, we got a lot of work to do”

Brown spoke on the system racism plaguing the city and the country and the current conversation on the relationship between fans and athletes.

Before returning to TD Garden for Game 3, Kyrie Irving spoke on his experiences in Boston, saying, “Hopefully we can just keep it strictly basketball. There’s no belligerence or any racism going on, or subtle racism. People yelling s**t from the crowd.” Since his comments, Marcus Smart and Danny Ainge have talked about their history with the city, painting a night and day picture of what it’s like playing in and for Boston.
