If you haven’t heard by now, the Celtics traded Kemba Walker, this years 16th pick in the NBA Draft and a 2025 2nd round pick to the Oklahoma City Thunder for Al Horford, Moses Brown, and a 2023 2nd round pick earlier today.
With the deal seemingly coming out of left field, CelticsPod has provided you with an emergency episode to give you some initial thoughts and reactions. I’m joined by friend of the podcast Cody Chalifoux for the first half of the episode, as we try to give you analysis from a fan’s viewpoint before being joined by CelticsBlog’s own Jeremy Stevens for the second half, where we look at things a little more analytically.

☘️Reacting to the Kemba trade
☘️Celtics saving some $
☘️Moses Brown is a great addition
☘️How will Horford fit
☘️+ much more https://t.co/EL0ZpqwMoz
We try to look at things from both an immediate and long term perspective, where I make a case that any future trades should be put on hold until after a coach has been appointed.
Also, is Moses Brown the under appreciated headline of this deal? And what does that mean for Robert Williams both this season and moving forwards? We try to explore every angle while still reeling from the early morning Woj bomb.
