On this episode of the Celtics PRIDE podcast, the guys give secondary thoughts on Brad Stevens in the President of Basketball Operations role after having a few days to digest the news. How will Stevens differ from Ainge in the way he runs the front office, the type of culture he creates and the way he caters to the modern player?
The guys then look ahead to the offseason. They compare this team to the one Danny Ainge took over in 2003 and argue about the ceiling of this Celtics roster. The answer determines the types of moves they may need to make this offseason and how limited is this team’s future because of the salary cap picture.
They look at trading Kemba Walker and discuss some possible deals. They also discuss re-signing Evan Fournier, trading Tristan Thompson, trading Marcus Smart and extending Robert Williams. Is Dame Lillard a realistic option and would we even want that contract?
Finally, Adam updates a couple of bets the guys made this season.

About Celtics PRIDE Podcast: Co-Hosts Adam Motenko, his identical twin brother Josh Motenko, and their friend Mike Minkoff couldn’t stop talking about the team. Now they supply your need for Boston Celtics content with their regular podcast on CelticsBlog.
They will talk nerdy to you, dissect the players on and off the court, and bicker like only opinionated New Englanders can. It’s like if CelticsBlog made a BasketballJones / Dunc’dOn lovechild.
You will get the coach’s perspective, the capologist’s view, and a healthy dose of advanced and traditional stats that breakdown everything that happened and could happen with the #1 dynasty in the NBA. If you often find yourself reminiscing about the players you grew up watching, or you just need reminders about what “being a Celtic” means to you, this is the podcast for you. This is Celtics PRIDE!
