Get out your calendars. The NBA has announced the regular season schedule:

Here are some key dates and notes:

  • After starting the season on October 20th in Madison Square Garden against Kemba Walker, Evan Fournier, and the New York Knicks, the Celtics play their first home game on October 22nd vs. the Toronto Raptors.

  • The team travels to Milwaukee for Christmas Day.
  • There are fifteen back-to-backs, most in the league, scattered throughout the year.
  • The Celtics will be featured on national television thirty-two times on ESPN (11), NBATV (10), TNT (7), and ABC (4) that include marquee matchups like November 12th hosting the world champion Milwaukee Bucks, December 7th in Los Angeles against the Lakers, and February 24 vs. the Brooklyn Nets after All-Star Weekend.
