Player Comparison: Bradley Beal vs. Jaylen Brown

Beal has more assists, Brown more rebounds. Beal is the better Free Throw shooter, Brown is a far better 3 point shooter.

Player Comparison: Donovan Mitchell vs. Jaylen Brown

Again, Mitchell has more assists, Brown rebounds. Mitchell, while below Brown, has had a serviceable year from three.

There is a slight indication that Jaylen Brown's game has plateaued. If so, it is at an all-Star level. When you factor in age, injury concerns and defense... Brown maybe the best of the 5.

If he stays healthy, Brown has a good chance of being 2nd or 3rd team all NBA th his year. He would be the best.

For some reason, Celtics fans seem to have set the bar for Brown impossibly high. The two weakest parts of his game: his handle and distribution are not weaknesses. Does he treat the ball like a Duncan championship yo-yo player like Kyrie? No. He is a very good ballhandler, however. He is a serviceable passer, more than adequate for his job.

All that is to say.

Please-- stop including him in trade packages for lessor more limited players. There are about 5 players 25 or younger with legit shots of making all-nba. You want to package Brown for Luka or Ja? All in. Other than that, just keep the core together.

Luka Dončić

Trea Young

Ja Marrant

Jason Tatum

Jaylen Brown

Anthony Edwards (in a few years)
