John Collins and DeJounte Murray available?

The Spurs are fielding offers for Murray and have told multiple interested teams it would take a "Jrue Holiday-like package" for San Antonio to part with the 25-year-old floor general, setting a rough benchmark of three first-round picks for any suitor to pry Murray free. -via Bleacher Report / June 23, 2022

Chris Kirschner: As @Jake Fischer reported, the Hawks have discussed a trade involving John Collins and Spurs guard Dejounte Murray but I’m told it’s not close to happening yet. Not saying it won’t happen, just not close this second. -via Twitter @ChrisKirschner / June 23, 2022

My take is I hope Stevens is at least on the phone with the Spurs about Murray.

Gotta try Smart and two first to see if they bite, IMO. Murray is not much better than Smart as 3 point shooter, but he is an upgrade everywhere but on defense (where Murray is pretty good).

Another piece said Boston has interest in J. Collins. With the talk of Huerter being on the Celtics radar too, it gets one to think IF a much bigger deal could be considered.

I am sure Atlanta would do a deal around

Collins and Huerter to Boston

Brown and Theis

The money works after the new NBA year kicks in, due to Huerters extension starting then.

I would only consider something like that IF Atlanta throws in at least the #16 pick this year and another future first. But if they would to get Brown...I would have to seriously consider it.
