Paul

Reports have Chris Paul being waived by the Suns, while still being paid 15 mil of his 30 mil contract. He wants to sign with a contender. I assume that one of the big draws will be joining Lebron in LA, but he would fit really well with the Celtics as well. His primary skills (that he still has) are exactly what they could use, and he could be had (relatively) cheap. The other thing this does is give you the ability to package either Smart or Brogdon (I'd keep White) with Grant in a sign and trade...maybe even Pritchard as well...and get yourself an expensive big who can bring you more at the 4 or be the primary 5 with Rob playing lower minutes to stay healthy. Keeping Smart would hinge on him accepting the 6th man role he's more suited for...I'm not sure if he would be OK with that at this point.
