Smart vs. Brown should be an extremely entertaining and tight contest to see who moves on to the finals.

Jaylen Brown and Marcus Smart, two of the most physical players on the Celtics’ roster, square off in what should be a heated one-on-one matchup. Brown has the size advantage, but I don’t see that mattering against Smart’s physicality. However, Smart won’t be able to dominate Brown like he might other players.

Will Brown make it to the final round, or will Smart take on the winner of Kyrie Irving vs Jayson Tatum?

Ex-Blue Devils face off in the final four of the Celtics one-on-one tournament.

Here we are at the Final Four of the Celtics one-on-one tournament and it’s two Duke Blue Devils head-to-head in the sems. Rookie 7th seed Jayson Tatum has made it farther than expected against his new teammates, as 3rd seeded Kyrie Irving has taken care of business with each opponent he has gone up against.

Tatum has the size advantage and a polished mid-post game that should be difficult to guard, but Irving might be the ultimate one-on-one player in the NBA. So will the rookie make it to the finals or will Irving continue his run against his new teammates? The winner lf this matchup will take on the winner of Jaylen Brown vs Marcus Smart.

The battle of the Marcuses might be the best matchup in the entire tournament.

This is a matchup I would actually pay to see. Two of the toughest players in the NBA face off in the quarterfinals in what could be a very heated game of one-on-one. Marcus Smart is incredibly versatile and can guard almost anyone, but Marcus Morris will be a handful thanks to his height advantage and advanced mid range game. However, Morris will have to deal with a quicker and stronger player in Smart.

So who will come out with the victory in this one-on-one duel. The winner of this will advance to the Final Four to face the winner of Jaylen Brown vs Daniel Theis.

Kyrie Irving and Jae Crowder face off in the weirdest Celtics one-on-one matchup possible.

Jae Crowder and Kyrie Irving are against each other in the quarterfinals of the Celtics one-on-one tournament. How that happened, I’m not sure. We had to include Crowder in his matchup against Aron Baynes to keep things fair, and you all voted him through, so here we are.

Crowder has the size advantage and defensive ability to give Irving more trouble than most, but there might not be a player in this tournament that can check Uncle Drew in the half court by himself. So will Crowder move on to the semifinals against his soon-to-be former teammates or will Irving start his Celtic career with a bang? The winner of this matchup faces the winner of Jayson Tatum vs Al Horford.

Can the talented rookie Jayson Tatum take down the All Star big man in Al Horford one-on-one?

Al Horford made it through Ante Zizic right before he was traded to the Cavaliers in the NBA’s latest blockbuster to face Celtics rookie Jayson Tatum. Tatum took out Terry Rozier in convincing fashion, but will have a much harder time scoring in the post against Big Al.

A Final Four bid is on the line, so who takes this one-on-one matchup to go on and face the winner of Kyrie Irving vs Aron Baynes?

The Celtics one-on-one tournament continues with cinderella story Daniel Theis going against Jaylen Brown.

16th seeded Daniel Theis pulled off a major upset by defeating top seeded Gordon Hayward in the round of 16. 8th seeded Jaylen Brown took care of 9th seeded Guerschon Yabusele with relative ease and will take on his new teammate in an unexpected quarterfinal showdown.

Can Theis continue this magical run in the Green on Green Tournament, or will Brown showcase his improved game by moving on to the Final Four? The winner of this matchup will face the winner of Marcus Smart vs. Marcus Morris.

Jae Crowder will have his hands full with new Celtics big man, Aron Baynes.

For now, pretend JC is still a Celtic. With the trade in limbo, he still could be. Sixth seeded Jae Crowder will go up against the Celtics’ newest bruiser in 11th seeded Aron Baynes. Crowder will certainly have his hands full dealing with the 6-10, 260 pound center, but Baynes will have to keep up with Crowder on the perimeter as well.

Can Crowder knock Baynes off of his list of 99 problems or will the big man start a trend of size being a big advantage in this Green-on-Green tournament?

Small guards face off in what will surely make a fast paced round of 16 matchup.

Here we have an intriguing matchup between the two newest guards on the Celtics roster in 3rd seed Kyrie Irving and 14th seed Shane Larkin. The third seed originally belonged to Isaiah Thomas, but since the Celtics traded him for Irving, the tournament had to be adjusted. Irving has some ridiculous handles and one-on-one ability, so Larkin’s matchup in the round of 16 did not get entirely easier.

Will Larkin take out the newest member of the Celtics, or will Irving introduce himself to his new teammates with a long run in the tournament? The winner of this matchup will face Aron Baynes.
